Hi guys i want to get this headset i just wanted to get some thoughts on what other people think of it http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=7388 this is where im gettting it from and i wont be taking it off and cleaning it really cos im crap and putting together a scooter i dont know how to do half of it also i will be running this on threaded forks so i will use the locknut from my threaded headset

Dont do it!!!! get and s1 like a normal human being. S3 cups are steel or something and the cup snaps in your headtube and it doesnt come out.

im from the uk and FSA Pig DH Pro that sounds good and its £20 what i wanna know is if it will fit its 1 1/8 size that will fit all decks wont it??

The s3 cups are aluminum for all the weight weenies, most cups are steel. That's really the only difference between the s1 and the s3.

ive never had a problem with my s-3, i just bought another one actually, just put it in properly and dont be an idiot and smash it in, make a tool that wont damage it when you put it in.

Yep. If you're a harder rider then get an S1, and if you don't know how to put a headset in and are going to be hammering away, get an S1. If you know your way around a scooter and are pretty smooth or not super good (and have the extra money), get an S3. They spin exactly as well though because they have the same bearings.
