How to raw scooter parts.

I'm just wondering how people raw out parts. Can you raw a rup? How do you do it? What is necessary so you don't rust your parts? Thanks

RUPs are RAW aluminum, they can't be rawed?

Clear coat/paint is necessary so steel/chromo parts don't rust.

its aluminum so it can't rust... and for that its chrome, so you need a wire wheel or something. With a sander it would be really really hard.

if its anodized, use caustic oven cleaner. Works great. But take sefty precautions, if you get it on your skin, well shit.
