I think you people are looking way too into this. Nobody looked at a poorly drawn scooter held by a poorly drawn character that was barely visible for ten seconds on a single episode of a TV show and based their opinions of a sport on that. It's South Park.

Yeah, I know, but its just that the scooter was in that group. In a way its implying that some dubscene kids are also scooter kids, which to be completely honest, I cant fully disagree with that.
(at least around me) most of the new generation of scooter kids are "scene", or trying to be "scene", and they all think dubstep is the greatest music out there and wont even give anything else a chance. And you cant even deny that a lot of videos on here have dubstep too.
Im in NO way trying to talk bad about the sport, but look at what that short ten second clip implies, and then look at what our community has recently turned into.

Every single kid on that show was a trendfag though. The scooter has nothing to do with it, I guarantee they didn't think this far into it when writing the show as we are now, trying to find meaning for or against the progression of scooters and the respect thereof in a ten second clip from a show that makes fun of everyone and everything. That's what I'm saying.
Im not necessarily saying how they meant it, but people who noticed it will probably interpret it along these lines.
