I know it works, but should I get threadless forks also or should I save my money up for a whole compression kit?

Did you read his question^? Threadless forks are much lighter and stronger, and you will need a Compression system to run threadless forks.

Did you read his question^?

Yes, he did, and his answer is correct - you can run threaded forks on a threadless headset by using the threaded compression nut. Granted, the main advantage of a threadless headset is so that you can use a more easily adjustable compression system, but you can certainly use a threaded fork while you're "in between" setups.

Now the Bonus Question: Can you use HIC or ICS with a threaded fork?

well if you're buying a threadless fork and headset you will need a compression, so get the headset, and when you have enough get a threadless fork and compression system

Yeah, his answer is correct but it has nothing to do with what he asked if you read the question thoroughly.
