i was just wondering the same thing. can you use paint stripper if it is liquid coated (like my nitro is)? will it work? or leave stuff behind?...

I Searched last night and people were saying to use Paint stripper and a wire brush so I might try that, I just don't want to fuck anything up.

Just use paint stripper, then if you have one. Use a pressure washer it will make the paint fly off easy, or just use a hose. I recently just rawed my DH frame so I know some tips.

use "aircraft stripper"

careful though, it will burn through gloves. out of all the stuff ive tried, its best stuff to strip paint with. and yea you can use a wire brush, it speed up the process

Jasco Premium Paint & Epoxy remover which you can purchase at Home Depot.

This stuff is seriously caustic and will burn your skin if you get some on you.

I'm not being an over cautious Dad on this one- the shit removes Paint and Epoxy- it WILL burn you- just a tiny little drop.

Be very careful using a wire brush since you'll be slinging the paint remover all over the place with every motion of the wire brush.

YOU DO NOT WANT THIS STUFF IN YOUR EYES

You'll need a pair of good rubber gloves, a bag of Chip brushes (the cheap throw away brushes)

Apply the remover and let it do it's job- it will start to bubble up
the Paint in about 10-15 mins then carefully scrape the paint off and wipe the removed paint off of the scraper. I usually have a cardboard box to put all the paint in so I use the edge of the Box.

Wash the deck off with a hose thoroughly and repeat.
