changing allen key axles to bolts?

I have heard about people doing this. My axle heads are stripped. What would be the kind of bolts to get so I can get my scooter tighter?

Get a 3 inch 5/16 bolt for the back and 2.5 inch for the front just to be safe.

the higher the "Grade" the better. Stainless steel is about a 5 and tempered/hardened steel is an 8.

5/16 bolt and in metric it..i have no idea. i changed my district axel our for a normal axel, i like it a lot more.

Nah get a 3 inch bolt forthe back and a 2 inch bolt for the front.. Make sure you dont get the bolts that are threaded all the way or else its gonna be hella weak
