so basicly i want this to JUST be pictures of YOUR griptape/deck pins/or other form of grip, but this is mostly about custom designs, so post those pics!

Chalk and a stencil, chalk usaly stays on grip tape for ages.

Im tempted to put a mini proto star logo in the corner of my griptape when i get my new setup. like a stencil but cut out with Stanley knife...
and advice? ideas?

I've never done this but i'm thinking that you would just cut it out of the griptape before you put it on and then just stick the tape on and alls fine?? Post it up if you do.

ive done it. i wanted to practice it on my current setup first, so the grip was already on. came out pretty good actually. i done 2 sizes aswell

We found some black and purple horizontally striped grip tape and I cut out the template at an angle. Then I measured up something like 3" on one side, 4.5" on the other, and cut a straight diagonal. I laid in 1" strips of orange grip tape in the opposite direction, then just I repeated. It's hard to explain, but not that hard to do. It would be much more difficult if I was using 3 different types of grip tape instead of 2.

Oh i see now, so you cut out the place where the orange tape would go in the black/purple tape. It's a really good idea actually, i may try it thanks. =D
