^ Yeah, I hate the way it looks too. Aluminum pegs in general are just trash imo. They barely fit any good forks/decks and they wear down too much.

Or you could just do it on a lathe...but there's a reason they're that thick, if they were as thing as Chromos they'd snap. Pegs go through a TON of stress. I bend >grade8 axles all the time, and I don't even ride that hard.
