Old inward compression

idk if thats what its called, but i remember seeing it like back in realy 2010 and i just saw it again recently and i wanted to know how effective it was and how it worked and stuff.
can anyone explain it to me please?

there was a hole in the bars and fork and somehow that bolt holds it all together.


at least thats what it looks like.

it probly makes the bars weaker considering that theres a hole drilled in the middle of the bar

It was basically ICS and then a hole was drilled through your forks and bars so you could bolt them together. It's not very effective, considering that hole would be a major weak spot especially if the bolt was too close to the slit, and/or overtightened.
