flow means your not pro and not am and your not fully sponsored but you get a discount on their products am means you have a amateur sponsorship contract and pro means your fully sponsored with a professional contract

no. But on a more serious note. A flow sponsor is usually given by companies to up and coming riders. Most of the time they will receive a good amount of discounts on the parts or an example, lucky, who gives out free parts to their flow sponsors. A flow sponsor is given out by companies to allow up and coming riders to gain experience and exposure. This 'level' of sponsor is in a way, a stepping stone to get to the Pro 'level' of sponsorship.
It still requires commitment and hard work!

Flow teams are usually riders who aren't as good as pro riders on the same team but who still get parts and can represent the team, just aren't pro. A lot of the time the flow riders eventually get promoted to pro status but that's after a long time of dedication. A flow team is just to have a sort of back up team and also to have more people repping and testing parts.
