well ashley powell if its been done already then its probly a good idea, and i made some prototypes and i had them for like two weeks and they worked awesome, until they fell off cuz i made them by cutting of part of an old broken yak wheel and screwed it into broken odi bar ends. it would cost just as much money to make as regular bar ends why would it be a waste of money?

i went and tryed this idea and im done with regular bar ends im using these for now they look cool and last forever

bar ends are useless in my opinion. i used to put them in cause they come with grips and they look cool, but they always end up tearing off after a couple of weeks.

but then u end up with a bar in your stomach if you dont use barends, or a ruptured spleen like my a kid i know from tennesse

ive been riding without barends for years and nothing bad has ever happened, i did the same thing when i rode bikes.

not only can barends prevent you stabbing yourself, they also protect ur bars from denting, as well as getting dirt and shiitt in them

yeah, riding without barends sketches me out.
and i cant ride with metal barends either, they hurt. ive stabbed my leg with metal barends while riding my bike and it hurting really bad. it was like 2 inches from my man parts too.

How about this...
Plastic Bar Ends/Metal.. what ever, doesn't really matter,
But! With rubber tops, like bumpers almost, you know? It'll still give the good ol' bar end quality everyone is used to, and will last a life time.

I don't understand why a bike/scooter company doesn't make weighted barends which would be better for bar spins? Sort of what addict is doing.
