Getting sick of my madd gear...

District is better in every way. And if you want a park deck, then a tsi flight is better in every way than a madd gear.

... except district have shit dimensions, look like ----- feel like plastic and have a shit brake system.

and not everyone who rides park would wanna ride a tsi, they dont offer anything that an mgp couldnt? and are heaps more expensive.

Let's start from the top, shall we?
Grips: give you no support and wear out quicker than animal edwins.
bars: Heavy as ----- ugly and weak.
forks: Made out of a low quality aluminum and break super easy.
wheels: ovalise and dehub/chunk in less than a month
Deck: is heavy, ugly and feels terrible.
brake: The brake breaks rather quickly. (Pun intended)
They suck,
feel horrible,
grind horrible,
Everything about madd gear is horrible.

grips: cost $10 at the local bike shop
bars: look like rads and are strong, and amazingly cheap for how good quality they are
forks: arent amazing but last for a long time and again, cheap for how good they are
wheels: the OLD ones used to chunk and dehub, the new ones are improved and good
deck: is very original design, the 2012 edition and extreme edition are actually really light and the looks is an opinion. not a statement.
brake: the old ones suck but again, they have been improved, still arent amazing but brakes cost $30 so who cares
so they dont suck
how something feels is a variable opinion
the new ones dont have that rienforcement plate at the front and instead has 2 prominent grind rails
they have dramatically improved

scootering recievs alot of shit and companys would rather make skate and bmx parts because scooters give a 'bad image' and doesnt 'promote sale'.... we should treasure our companys wether we like them or not because its a huge industry with not enough sellers or distribvutors. i'm not argguing anymore but you should at least give madd 2012 a chance

hahahah weight freak, ive never seen a pair of the 2012 mgp bars broken and the only batwings i see snap are because someone throws their scooter, deck is LIGHT your the biggest weight freak so your opinion on weight doesnt count, forks hold up amazing, ive never seen the 2012 ones broken plus my friend still rides his and hes an absolute shredder and destroys districts dk2s in a few months yet has no problems with his 2012 extreme. who cares about grips and breaks theyre a cheap replaceable part and the breaks are actually decent now. wheels only break quick if you dont wear them in ive had mine for 6 months and mine are fine.

It's an old post, but the points are valid.

They owed the company that was making the apex stuff lots of money, and that company decided to take apex for themselves. It's a shame, because it was all top quality stuff made in Aus. But the Blunts and Madds who get there stuff made by cheapo toy manufacturers in China and you guys who are happy to ride around on toys that cost just $10 to make are all to blame...........

You need to think about the future for yourselves........ all the time you support these so called "Australian Owned" companies who buy cheap and sell expensive, your simply killing your own chances of getting a job later in life. Unless of course you want to work in China I suppose......... The Aussie companies make better quality and as far as I know, offer genuine warrenties...... They may be more expensive, but you pay for what you get. If someone gave you the choice between a K Mart pair of shoes and pair of DCs....... you would go for the DC every time. But you all buy crappy Madd stuff in K Mart over quality Aussie made........... If Madd was that good it would be in all the top surf and skate shops not in K Mart......8)

Don't get to hung up by the Billy Rainbows and Codie's........... they get paid good money to tell you guys how good Madd is. If someone like Moonwalk or Mutts offered them more money they would do the same for them in an instant..............

Support Aussie companies, because it's your future...................

madds are made in aus.... i've been to the factory (ages ago though) might've been mooved but idc where or what the parts are made of, i know, thats sad but i'm not made of money, and even if madd alu is cheap ----- its forged and thick so no matter how bad quality it is, it lasts, i'm not arguing anymore but i'm just saying, madd gets way too much hate

its just a sticker dude.... i'm 15 years old and quite a clean rider, nor am i a noob who cant do anything.... ive ridden everything on the market and i honest to god beklieve madds shit on the competion
they are cheap strong and light... exactly what is needed out of a scoot, who cares if they are 'ugly' its how it rides
apart from that, madds are VERY original... not one scoot in the market is the same. madd is the only company that dont use a straight hollow neck. very original and very strong, asnd except for how common they are they really stick out fron the crowd
the colours have absolutely nothing to do with it (they look cool anyway) its madds bad rep, and thats all it is, its not that they are bad, its just that its a rep... and i really hate it, madds deserve a better name, they are amazing

I agree, i own a madd i own the original nitro :d they are sick and i wouldnt want to trade! Plus their team is one of the best in the world, PERIOD
