making dirt scoot deck.

i'm making a dirt scooter deck.... i havent got any photo's cus i'm making it at school and electronic devices arent allowed in the metal room :/

my metal teacher is a dumbfuck who doesnt understand english so i'm not going to ask him... i got a few questions:

what is the ultimate width and length for a dirt scoot deck? (i want opinions not statements)

our school uses a oxy welder so what is the best welding rod type for steel?

what head tube angle should it have? and how do you make it that angle (exactly)

should it have billie rainbow holes? if so where?

what colour should ispratpaint it?

what other features should i include?

ps: so far i've got 2 steel scooter necks and welded them together and attached a steerer tube, i then drilled a hole in it (like on madd gear extremes) i then got two square poles and have clamped them to either side (they are 540 mm (or 21.25 inches) long) the necks are 3.5 cm (1.37 inches) wide and halfway down the deck will be a brace, i have stolen most of the design off cody. and you can look at his to see what mine'll look like, its almost identical in design, i suppose i'll post it up...... the back wheel is 8 cm (3.14 inches) wide so i'll have to blowtorch and bend the dropouts to fit the wheel and will need to buy a new axle, cus its huge ;) (ps: where do i get a bolt thats threaded on both sides? my local hardware store is useless)..... other than that ihave razor electric scooter forks. i also have threadless bmx forks with a inbuilt starnut, so i'm hoping to swap the forkyubes. i have a pretty good idea on how i'm gunna do that but tips would appreciated. i'm going to run hic on it with a brand new set of oversized pink batwings (3* backsweep) and running stolen money grips on it, i will also be putting on ALOT of deckpins and some extra coaarse griptape.

opinions? i want this thing to be really nice so please, what should i change on the design? everyrthing will be considered, i dont care about the really technical shit involved with scooters so help would be awesome. thanx :)

this is pretty much the same as what i'm making. the nech and the rienforcement under it are the same, also the 2 steel square rods going the length of my deck are the same too.

that headtube looks way to long its going to feel really weird riding that

and you should make it about 5-6 inches wide

Robert that's mine, and I have yet to cut the neck down because I don't have a headtube yet to weld onto it.

Is it possible to get a old razor headtube in there and shove it in the headtube with the neck still attached?
Don't know much about this stuff but are you able to bolt it or weld it on?
Not too sure on the welding aluminum to steel or chromo.

i'm thinking ~4.75, how does that sound? also, can i use stateboard deck plywood as a deckplate? that would be lighter and would probs look better.
