how do you make a deck raw

Paint Stripper

paint thinner won't do anything to cured paint.

Make sure to use a very very strong paint stripper, it will save you so much time and sanding because you can usually spray off the old paint with a hose

if the deck is painted use paint stripper. ive used one called aircraft remover and it worked great. i bought it from kragen auto parts

If you use oven cleaner it works amazingly. I rawed my bars in 30 minutes.
Make sure you Coat it with Clear coat After your done. Of it will be Fucked.

what i did was.... i used paint stripper AND sand paper. apply the paint stripper, and while its wet, sand it away. easiest way possible. took me 10 mins...

paint thinner gel just go to ace hardware and tell them if they got paint thinner but in a gel form...wipe it on with a paint brush, walk away maybe go take a shit and grab some kool-aid, come back in 20 minutes and wipe it off, will get the majority of it off, if not repeat the process where there is still PAINT and your good to go
