rusty bars

i searched but couldn't find a definitive answer. when i ordered my vertx bars, im pretty sure they were not clearcoated, or at least not heavily. not they have turned to a nice brown and i cajn see some rust forming. i really dont care to much about looks but will this effect the strength of them, ive had them for like 4 months and i don't want them to go out soon because of the rust. and if it will rapidly kill them, and suggestions for fixing?

It won't hurt it until years and years down the line. You can sand off the rust with almost any grit sandpaper and then recoat it clear.

if you want to get the rust off, just get some steel wool

the rust is not deep so it doesn't effect the bars apart from looks. clear the rust off then clear coat it very strongly

rust is gross, it eats away the metal and if it cuts you you can get tetnus, it also feels rough and gross, clearcoat.

My crows are rusty as FUCK they look sick and ghetto though, doubt it makes them much weaker tbh

anyways i just sanded then primed, painted black and clearcoated. looks good now. thanks guys
