Jump before the rail, and jump higher than the rail. Also slam down onto the rail when it is under you

thats pretty much perfect advise, just make sure you are almost perfectly parallel, just a little angle, then when you jump high and turn slightly mainly turning your deck slam down and yea it will pop you off the other side but as you gain more balance you can stay on a bit longer, note i find that these are much better to do on circle rails

Thanks, and yeah I'm doing it on a round rail too :) Should I use my hips to turn it at an angle or my legs?

ride up to the rail parallel, get comfortable not hopping as high as you think you need too, then do a back 90 but keep your shoulders facing forward. i had your same problem but committing is key.

this is horrible advice, dont jump high as slam into it..

ride parallel or maybe come at it with like a 20 degree angle, do a bs 90 INTO THE RAIL, not ONTO, you want to jump the perfect amount so youre just landing locked in, not slamming into it all off balanced. keep your shoulders forward and come out.

Does anyone have tips about doing them on ledges? I'm good at lipslides and lipslide combos on my rail, but I cant seem to do them on ledges

i try to try to put the front of the deck more towards the edge of the ledge and make sure that i lift up my back wheel if that helps.. back lips are 10x easier on rails in my opnion though

hello

Dont jump towards the rail, just ride up parallel and turn. It's kinda hard to just straight up back lip for me, It's easier to 270 out than to just back lip (for me haha)
