do you find that the different colour grips change the properties of them much. for example my mates keyboard grips in clear ripped in like a week.

also do you know if these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=52556 grips are good and these

or any other good grips, i know this part of the question is this or that but i wanted to know what you think of the first part in how much the grip is affected. also what colour works best for you most of the time, id probably say black

nope sorry man, its just colour. Grip tape is simply sandpaper. Some companies may use different types of sand paper, but most of its the same

the only Test you can do is for your friend to use Colored Grips of the same Band and then see how long the color ones last.

But I highly doubt there's any difference from Clear Grips to Colored grips.

Most grips no, but some the batch of colored ones do effect them. I had black stolen money grips on my bike for like 3 months, and they were still good, and I bought the same ones but in glow in the dark, and they lasted like 2 weeks, wore down quick and got sticky and gross.
