I got myself banned.
Everyone has been saying for ages that lucky no longer make parts and get them made in Taiwan and then the new range is full of low and behold Taiwan made extruded decks and wheels looking like the other cheap stuff but of course at high lucky prices! Got to pay for Dakotas wages somehow I guess! Glad you dont have a go at companies making weak parts in china on your website as that would make it even worse, oh wait you do!
Just to prove it this is an actual file from a customs record to proove it:
Ramiko Co., Ltd. 08/15/2012 855 kg
Kaohsiung, Taiwan → The Port of Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California Scooter Parts Lucky Scooter (In Dia.) #Dc032612 D Long Beach, California Part No. C/No. Made In Taiwan Do #Dc042712 C Do #Dc032712 C Do #Dc032712 D
Your in house quality team may have trouble checking everything going to distributors when its 8000 miles from the factory too.
Its fine to make cheap parts in foreign countries as 90% of scooter parts are but dont charge made in USA prices for them and act all special when your doing the same thing as district etc but without passing the savings on to customers. $200 for a deck that costs $20 to make?
