Threadless Fork Help!

Ok soo i am going to buy a French Id Fork, and i waz wondering if it is mandatory that u have to use a star nut or a special clamp like SCS, i already have threadless bars and i use a double clamp!...i hope i am clear on this!?

you need a compression system.
 
Ics is internal compression system, like the kind that inward sells. You can find them in the sr store. Yes you have to use a compression system with a thredless fork.

NICE...but still not answered my question...can u use a double clamp on it??...i am gussing no right because the forks will pull out right!?

ICS is Inverted, not Internal.
Yes you use your clamp but you need the compression at the same time.

I own SR.
If you use an ICS (inverted compression system) you have to use a double clamp as well but you can not use a double clamp all by itself or your headset will loosen without the ICS keeping it tight. If you use an SCS, that is all you need. Both are compatible with FrID and both can be found in the SR Store and probably other places.
