1- 1/4 is normal. HIC is oversized aka bigger. So if you use 1- 1/4 you can use a normal clamp. HIC you have to stretch your clamp or buy a Proto Clamp.

so if the HIC is bigger is it stronger than the 1-1/4

The inside is bored out to use the HIC shim, without HIC, you can't run the bars.
they're meant for threadless forks only

so if you're running threaded, get the 1/4th
if threadless, and buying with a HIC shim, (or if it comes with one) get the HIC bars

i'm not sure if it's thicker/stronger, but i doubt it.

well im thinking of buying the new rads but i want the HIC ones because im going to run it with an scs but i just didnt know which to get and the want the ones that come with the extra notch that could come off and put back on

if you go to the sr store and click on the rad og or mini vultures they have the extra notch/ hidden compression system i want my bars with that but i just dont know if the new rads come with it
