Cane creek S 1 vs s 3

so i was ordering a fakey brake from kotascooter and i also ordered a a cane creek s 3....little did i know that they are soooo unlegit, they sent me an s 1 instead of an s 3, and refuse to reply to my emails to them about it...so should i stay with the s 1 or go to a local bike shop and buy an s 3...im pretty dissapointed since even though i ordered a lot of my parts in november they still wont come in time for my dad to paint them in time for X mas....so my dream setup will be done in the middle of january...=[

^lol^ but still its so dissapointing, i ordered it november 6th just to get it in time for Xmas, and they still have'nt sent a replacement...=[ they probably never will

I'd just use the S1, it's a big mistake on their part, but performance wise I don't think it'll be a too noticeable difference.

Next time choose a legit company to buy from, not kotashits.

yea but theres another aspect, im a HUGE weight freak, and that 5 ounces weight diff between the s 1 and the s 3 really makes a difference to me =/

dont even worry about. and also dont be a weight freak. and correct me if im wrong, the s-1 has chromoly cups so its probably stronger. moral of the story, dont buy from kotascooter

You really can't say five ounces matters to you, if it does then cut your grips an inch shorter. As for the dilemma, keep emailing them or try to get a number, cause the S3 is worth more than the S1.
