the dropouts are thicker than pretty much any other deck. i highly doubt you'd have any problems with them.

Build a scooter with no compression, and answer your own question. after that, buy some compression.

i wouldn't call it an issue, more like something we just overlooked. only 2 or 3 decks actually were grinded through & broke. i never had any issues with that spot in the deck while testing, so we didnt think anything of it. but yeah, we're just trying to help out the dudes who need need that...
