i believe some phoenix suicides come without backsweep if you want them without. but if you do want them with backsweep it isnt much of a difference. i sometimes ride my friends scooter with ao beta bars and it isnt that hard to get used to, i got used to it in like 20 min.

i would go with an mgp vx4 i didnt really look into it until i won a vx4 at The Vault Pro Scooters (scooter shop} in a raffle. its pretty nice and solid the bars are kinda short for me because im somewhat tall, but they would be perfect for your 9 year old
