The vig really doesn't look THAT bad compared to most or compared to some other videos. If you shoot 4:3 instead of 16:9 (which I don't know if you have that option on the HV30 since it's "HD") but that would eliminate the vig completely I'm sure. Plus certain cameras that will be filming...
