If you are having problems keeping the headset tight and you are only using one nut on top then you will have to use 2. That is how they are designed to be ridden. When you tighten the 2 nuts together it puts a bind on the threads which holds them both from loosening.

It does not matter how much your bars weigh. If you are pushing forward or pulling back hard enough on any kind of bars that fork is gonna snap one way or another. The key is just to ride smooth and not crank on your bars if you want your forks to last.

Just as easily as a reinforced stock fork would snap with stock bars. The problem is the forks not the bars.

They are too big for RADs and they are probably about the same as stock but you can get a lot better clamps aftermarket... I just got the cheapest ones because the bars are already expensive enough as it is.
