ok, so its like HIC but with standard size bars the forktube is normal size, until it gets up to the end of the headset, then is tapered and smaller in diameter, so that when you slide the shim on its 1 1/8 and you can run normal size bars on it?

yea they slide smoother but they don't have a lot of room on the bottom for grinding so you have a harder tine balancing
