if you wax your deck some of the wax will end up rubbing off on the obstacle so I don't really see the point of waxing your deck rather than the obstacle

wax is basically universal, just don't use surf wax that will make you stick. From my own experiences I've found that softer wax works better on un-waxed ledges and just wax the ledge/rail/etc rather than your deck.

why is there board rails on your scooter deck? Like seriously I have no idea why you would have board rails on a scooter deck especially where they are not even on the grinding surface.

they are the shit, they are similar to addict grips just a little fatter at first. The part of the grip more towards your thumb comes with this little tapered section, I cut that part off and I like the feel of them better, they seemed to break in faster and more evenly then other people's grips...

why not just buy new ones, they're only like $10-$15?

I've heard good things about the t bars. The new decks look and feel thresholds and I think they're only like $150 so that might be worth it

They take a lot of time and practice. I would say get comfortable with half cabs first then just try to fakie hop off curbs or over cracks in a sidewalk. In my opinion its a pretty difficult trick and its super scary haha but if you're arleady tring them down 3 stairs you shouldnt have to much...
