If you held the can of clearcoat closer than 10-12 inches away, it's your own fault. I mean, clear coat is clear.. If it's thick enough to crack and come off, I would assume you used way too much or sprayed too close.

if you really snapped a V2i, then you're kind of limited. You can try the AO Sigma, or stick to a FRiD or Reventon. Or even a TSI.
