The precedent for street was set by skaters and other sports a long time ago and that precedent is no helmets. That's why wearing a helmet in street looks goofy. All I'm gonna say.

If you're just using wax then go ahead and try to grind it and that'll help the wax get in there. And just wax it over and over while seshing it!

Pros have huge tricks, insane combos, and great speed and style, all with godly consistency. I would say that consistency and style are probably the two main factors that increase my respect for anyone as a rider. Speed next, then combos, then big tricks.
