Why not just switch clamps?

That would be a pain ill just switch my phase 2 clamp off of my dirt from my madd gear.

Yeah I think its just the madd gear clamp.

But its not the shim nor the bolt(i just bought a new one last night) it just the madd gear clamp.

Im not saying anything about the top cap and starnut. I was just saying that your clamp has to clamp down on your forks to keep tight, but because im running a madd gear clamp its barely clamping on or not on all.

I have a built in starnut so that couldnt be the problem. I was saying that because district head tubes are so long that there is not much fork to stick out of the top. And because madd gear clamps bolts are high the clamp might not be putting much pressure straight onto the forks but mostly on...

I think its cause im using a madd gear clamp on a district V2i.

Why would you cut the shim?

Have you ever tried it?

It works with other scooters with HIC.

I tighten my hic and clamp super tight but my bars just keep twisting. Do you guy think that the wrong size crown race would make a difference?
