    new compression idea

How did you plan on tightening it properly? Also theres no way you could get it tight enough AND have your bars in line. It's threaded bars essentially. Rob is going to kill you and your family if he sees this.

    The "Good Idea" Thread

Why is that a good idea exactly? You don't need to be a weight freak. Its a damn ultra pro it weighs two pounds!

Eye Candy. (do not post your own scooter!)

In comparison, I have welded decks usually last me 3-4 months, while I had my first ZG spider for about 9 before it broke. And even in that case, all I had to do was get the bottom part. In the long run, it saves you money. I think that bolting it helps it not be so rigid that it creates a lot...

If they're the same as lucky decks in that area, then yes.

    How was your day?

Chunked a lucky wheel, put it in the front, chunked the other one. And I have a little crack on the weld of my headtube. But it was a fun day

No clue what you mean, it looks fine. It might be because ZG forks fit 125s

    New: Phoenix tlc fork

I think you should make an HIC fork that can be used with standard bars. Like have the forktube tapered to be smaller at the top, and then have a shim that is 1 1/8"

    YOUR SCOOTER

Because I'm a champ. No but really they don't sounds ovalized at all, and theres no wiggle room. They're just barely ovalized enough so that the bearings go in effortlessly. And devin that headset was buttery as hell until I bent the top cup breaking my fork. Very smooth though.

    YOUR SCOOTER

Dude loooool they are soo ovalized :p I went to my friends house as soon as I got the wheels, because he has a bearing press. So I lined up the bearings in the holes and they really just fell right in without effort. So I bussed for like ten minutes only to find out I didn't need to.

    YOUR SCOOTER

Just got my grippers from Derek :) And put on new grips, I am loving the black look. Also it's dialed and sounds like a basketball.

    Elyts Backpack (Holds Scooters)

Well it would probably have to be. What would you say the market for scooter holding backpacks is? Probably really small. If they want to make enough profit, they need higher prices.

    MGP Flex fender problems?!

Also if you want it to sound really dialed, cut a piece of a bike tube and poke holes lining up with the screws, and put it between the deck and brake. It will stop some of the vibration.

    New: Phoenix tlc fork

The shim seems an awful lot like a fancy locknut.

    tramp scoot.

Ouchhh, I would NOT want a TSI as a trampscoot. That just spells death to ankles.
  18. ConnorD

    ?

The shim has an OD of 1 1/4", so the bars need to be 1 3/8" to actually fit over the shim.

You just landed a prime trick, you're on top of the world, post here.

Bs boardslide to bar to manual whip out :) stoked And 270 bars dialed on this really sketchy 4ft quarterpipe hip.

    New: Phoenix tlc fork

I like how no one pointed out how stupidly hard it would be to get the slit in the shim lined up with the one in your bars. You would need to have no spacers, and the exact legnth headtube and the right size headset stack. Pretty pointless, threaded inserts are by far the best.
