it is still not a fact but i am not saying you are wrong. i thought it had the same geometry at the headtube as a flight and one of those snapped in under 1 year although the deck may absorb stress differently. the only deck i have seen last over a year as far as i know is a vertx or a fm2 v2...

info (preference) interchangable headtube (preference but i like it) quite heavy, with the razor stem, anyway it is lighter with the x-ray headtube. HT 82 normally unless using an old HT on razor stem etc Pro's: very strong, i dont think ANY have snapped yet so its going for the record...

why don't vertx on their i-beam decks have their outside walls on the very outside giving the deck boxed sides. its an easy obvious improvement which would make grinds better, and make it much less painful when failing to catch whips and stuff as one day i actually cut my calf messing up doing...
