I ride 3 days a week, mostly street and some park. Rough asphault and I weigh 140 lbs. I ride them pretty hard, considering Yak and Blunt wheels lasted me less than two months each on the same conditions.

I have a Gripper on the front abd Slider on the back. I bought them used 7 months ago and they have barely shown wear. It makes me think 6 months is not a long time for wheels.

What if the slit is larger in gap, but shorter in length. Then make sure the clamp clears the length of the slit by a decent margin, an inch or so. OR HICSCS - An HIC shim is used to compress. Then sort of an SCS clamp with an ID to go over the shim... Then throw the non-slitted oversized bars in.

Don't forget. Phoenix is American-made. Not only will that almost guarantee a higher quality,but it will boost a price considerably. The District dk2-i is produced in China (I am almoay aure of it) with little to no machining, plus they are painted, not anodized. There is no laser etching...

150 grams = .33 pounds. Cool idea. You could essentially weigh down your scoot for a heavier and identical balance. Or skew the balance to your liking.
