I'd say French ID. It looks amazing and it's not as heavy as it seems. It's such a sick deck. The v2i is a pretty long deck and seeing as how your a little on the short side, it's probably too long for you. I'd go with the French ID.

Does anyone else have any trouble with catching bartwists? I throw barspins with my left hand but bartwists with my right hand so it's like an opposite barspin and I can't catch them. Does anyone else do this?
