Ok, i get all that. Now, do you know if any of the yongnuo flashes have the high speed sync where it will go above 1/200 shutter speed?

Yeah they seem cool. But to understand right, I can trigger the yongnuo to flash when it's not on my camera, by my on camera flash, correct? How do I make my shutter go above 200 when my on camera flash is active?

i have a canon t3i, i want a good dedicated flash for taking pics in my lowlit skatepark. any ideas? also, my on camera flash only lets my shutter speed go up to 1/200 when the flash is up, do dedicated flashes let the shutter speed go up?
