You need a compression. If you get HIC Compression, you will need an oversized clamp. If you get SCS, you do not need a clamp, but an SCS system, which is a fancy clamp with a bolt that goes through it and into your forks.

You can not. The ST-1 are standard steel 1 1/4 The AL-1 or AL-2 are oversized OD but standard ID, because you need thick bars if they are aluminum. So you can not use HIC. Only ICS or SCS if you cut the slits. Same goes for the v3 bars
