I guess you could reheat the water every hour or so, this being the case use a microwave safe container. Adding more water will further dilute the dye. Oh, you wont be able to tell how far in the dye would have soaked. It won't wear off for about 4 months anyway. How quickly do you go through...

Not sure. Keep in mind that the water will go cold, and its soaking from the outside in, there's only so far it can seep through a compound such as urethane.

Tommo: I would say about 5mm. I dyed my AO sometime in July, and the dye wore off as I rode it up until January. It's faded on the sides aswell, but its still looking good. Jackson: Nopers. No such thing as white dye. And like mixing paint, adding a colour to black will make - you guessed it...
