Yeah, um, these wheels are listed as "eagle sport comets" and they are "only available in the usa". It's already sounding dodgy huh? Well, enlarge the picture and you'll find they are french ID comets.... Imagine how many kids would be ripped off like that thinking they were eagles.... lol...
haha, we got let off school early today, so everyone was walking into town. Me a mate were going to the SP and we were bombing down the park hill trying to get through everyone. I lost my shoe and couldn't use the brake cause it burnt my foot, and I couldn't drag it on the ground for obvious...
Yeah carry an allen key with ya. I do that all the time, and get some loctite. If that doesn't work or you don't wanna, get a high strength 5/16 (I think) bolt and either cut it down or get one with enough thread. First option is the best, having heaps of bolt sticking out sucks bad. Then get a...
My flatspots usually ride out in like a day or two. If they don't I take them to school and wack them on the belt sander in metalwork. Then go and wack up another pair of homemade bars. lol.
i think thats cause you didn't take the back plate off and over tightened the bolts. I couldn't get the plate off so I took to it with a hacksaw. Perfecto...
sorry bout the double post
I'm runnin a blue scat in the front and it's actually doing really nice. It's worn down probably 5 mms and it's still smooth, hasn't got cracks (yet) and it's only chunked a little...
The bearing cupz sound weird though compared to wheels without em but I'm used to it now. lol.
haha, I was just looking at them in the your MGP thread. lol. I've had had a pinched pair for about a month now, suprisingly, and they have really held up well I guess. They're starting to bend though, I think they'll go soon :(
you're bars were like 4 inches wide, I don't know how you can ride like that. I'd love to see you try bar to bar with 20 inch wides... Oh well, I guess it was an ok vid, but it was really repetitive...
Na i don't have a eagle spacer, I only got a normal one out of a razor pro wheel. I don't wanna fuck the wheel up trying to get the bearings out cause it probably isn't the problem, even though it most likely is...
So new bearings? And how the fuck do you get bearings out of eagles? The reason they are in there crooked (if they are) is cause I had to hammer the shit out of them to get em in it... Sorry for the millions of questions, but if it's in crooked does that mean the bearing cups will be munted?
^^ The wheel was smashed, the spacer was a little ruffed up but it looked useable.
The wheel (eagle) also wobbles when I roll it, could this be the bearings being in crooked or something to do with that?
It shouldn't make the wheel easier to break should it?
