you can use an scs like a clamp with the ihc if that is what you are asking all you have to do is: tighten the compression with the ihc compression slide the scs over it put the bars on and tighten it

it is not necessary but if your compression keeps coming loose then you should use it.

and you dont use an ics star nut unless you are using ics when you are using ics/scs 1)you take a top cap put it on on the bottom of the fork 2)then take the ics bot and put it through the top cap and through the forks 3)then you put the scs on with a top cap on it 4)make sure the bolt is...
