scs is the best compression there is. its super dialed and super strong what i dont like about hic is that there is a slit in the bars which makes the bars weaker and easier to snap, sometimes the hic shim can get stuck in your bars, your compression gets loose(tlc fixes this), and your bars can...

it basically is hic, but with some threads added so then it wont loosen up phoenix says it is going to be the next big thing but personally i wouldnt get it because id rather have a scs

i would get a fuzion elite and get some new griptape and grips for it. it would come out to like $120. you would still have enough money to buy a scs if you wanted to. thats what i would do and it depends if you like big decks or small decks for the nitro vs. ninja

what kind of bars do you have? no matter what bars you have you can use a full size scs(expensive, but works the best) if your bars are aluminum you can only use ics(cheap and works good enough) if your bars are oversized(almost as good as scs) if you have standard bars you can use any scs or ics

aluminum slides a lot better, but it wheres done a lot faster to. its a softer metal steel pegs will last you forever but they dont slide well unless you are grinding metal or a really buttery ledge
