Buffs are awesome. I needed a longer tube for them. Much cheaper than buying new bars. poorly silver painted the downtube. but enjoy nonetheless. it hasn't changed in months. Chromo parts FTW. same wheels, fork, bars, deck, headset... only changed the downtube and bearings in the past couple...

Actually a cheaper idea would be to just make a slot, instead of a 6 sided hole you could just make a square thats the exact size of the most common 1/4th inch nut.

1.375 is the OD. BUT if you want HIC buffs, you could get .058 wall, 1.259 Inner diameter 4130 tubing. or just stick with the alu tubing and run threaded/scs/ics.

The idea is to have something that is still smooth ish and jutting out. Derek i dont care if its that expensive it would be the last SCS you'd ever need to buy. hell, paying 100$ for a problem free SCS is ideal especially with the extra clamping power.
