Exactly. Not to mention, the clamp won't tighten as evenly as a standard HIC system. I would rather just have a normal HIC setup; it would stay tighter, and allow for easier straightening of bars.

What I meant was Nick started the whole flatland style as it is today. By Jordan or Rob riding like Nick, that would make there riding not original. Nick was the (hence) ORIGINAL BMX-style flatland scooter rider.

I also would have voted for RAD HIC if it was even invented in 2010. That was made in 2009.

The bars go over the shim, and under the clamp. The shim and the clamp are welded together. That kid is most likely right, it will keep the whole system from tightening evenly, but it is just to make it more simple. I would just stick to the standard HIC shim.
