my scoot weighs 9.5 pounds :) according to my scale.. Also, for the elite vs rup, on the elite, the downtube is further down the deck, whereas the rup downtube is at the tip of it. Idk if that would make it stronger or weaker, it might be less leverage to break it so thats good i think :p
