You tighten the hell out of it and it compresses your threadless headset so it doesn't move. then you clamp your oversized? bars onto it and you're good to go. i believe

Heavens no, what gave you that idea I do love 3 parts of them though. They only come in scooter sizes (nothing HUGE) The colors are excellent (from what i've seen) They look strong.
