I wouldn't do that, the longer your peg goes out, the easier it bends. I already have a problem with bending front axles. But you can make tilt pegs fit, just grind the outer diameter of the peg down until it just barely fits into the fork. Then you can tighten it down and it will squeeze in...

it's 3 pounds 9.1 ounces, so that's about 1.62 kg. It sounds pretty acurate to me, but I did the thing where I stand on the scale, so who knows if that's right. I think it's lighter.
