08' Pro Model Question.

Fuck Decks...anyways, yea the wheels suck on the new pro models blah blah blah. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE WHEELS.

Basically: 08' Pro Model + Pirate Reinforcments + Welded Foldy so no foldy ripping + All aftermarket wheels/forks/bars = WHAT?

That should be pretty indestructible right? I only break decks ever 5-6 months without reinforcements so that should last me a long time, no?

Everybody says the new pro models use weaker aluminum, but should that matter if I reinforce the dropouts and reweld the folding mech?

NO SHIT. haha. I'm over breaking scooter parts and want this shit INDESTRUCTABLE. My bars and fork I don't see breaking for a long time. It's just my deck that I'm having problems with. I'm hoping for this scooter to last at least a year without having to do anything but minor adjustments.

yea i use the 08 pro model with box reinforcements (homemade,same as alex's reinforcements) and i have not had any problems with the deck.Trust me, the reinforcements add weight, but it is sooooo solid now. i love it. It will last you a LONG time.

lol, i just got done putting some box reinforcements on my new pro. its allot different for me, especially because i have ridden old a's for the past couple of years. is it just me, or do the pro's sit up allot higher than the old a's?

Yea they do. I actually prefer it because it's less likely to hit something underneath your deck, but yea they do.

ive been riding my 08 pro model for about 4 months. the only thing im using is the deck and the headtube, and both are holding up good. the foldys cracked (always does happen) but it doesnt do anything as u no. i use steel strip reinforcement which are the shit.

the decks gonna rip at the foldy. i rode my beaslty scoot for like... 5 months, and the fron of the deck ripped... not cracked, like, the top separated from the sides. you're not gonna be able to ride that deck for more than like 5 months, epsecially if its an '08 one.
