104mm GM's and new Yaks

Okay so i just got some new wheels. However, my gm has a small ridge on the top of the urethane. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this on a new gm?? also when people talk about new yaks being defected, are they talking about like bubbles in the urethane? cuz i have that on mine.

all green machines have that ridge. it gets worn down in a day. and the new yaks dont have the same urethane formula as the old ones, so they break easier. little bubbles happen in almost every kind of wheel.
