alright thanks. yea the only thing that i wasnt into was that i own the odsy eletronical dvd and thats all filmed in HD and some of the clips look kinda choppy if ya know what i mean. idk its just that the HD didnt even make it seem like a bmx video. which is a good and bad thing i guess.

is the HV20 still good or is the new one wayyyy better. bc i dont want to drop to much on a camera. i dont got much money

in terms of quality HV will be wayyy better than the GS's, or almost any 3 chip.

however, true HD footy takes up alloottt of space, and editing it would take a decent computer. so idk how new your computer is, but you might wanna consider that.

i think the only major difference in the HV20 and HV30 is that the 30 has 30p.

30p, is 30 progressive frames per second. normally miniDV footy is 60i, or 60 interlaced frames per second. basically 30p makes your footage more film-like i guess, but its easier/cleaner on the web than what normal 24p is (24p is what film uses). the hv20 shoots 24p and reg 60i i think. idk if i'm making any sense, but i know brian can explain better.

pretty much both a good editing program and fast computer. idk what you should have as far as specs on your comp, i'm sure you could find sometihng on SP.
