a deck leans back

only one of my 3 a decks bars are like TILTING backwards twards me and its really starting to piss me off... i cant even fit in one of the bolts to lock it...

anyone else with this problem?solution? i have tryed to work with it but its being a lil bitch.

yea same here, well i can lock them but it seems like my folding mechanism is bended somehow or something because when i ride with real scooter ( with Madis or juku or whatever, just normal scooter ) then im like holy shit, pretty hard to control. maybe just get somewhere new folding mechanism? im sure some of your friends have snaped their old a deck and they dont have nothing to do with folding, for me it doesnt affect much.

i have the same problem, its extremely homosexual im thinkin about drilling a hole through the folding mech. and sticking a bolt in there to stop the bars from coming back any farther, im also using the newer A model scooter.

i had that problem too when i used to ride bolted a models, the deck starts to bend up at the folding mech.
I just would bend it back by steppin on the brake and pulling the bars up everytime it got bad enough.

mine always start to do that but then i just always go back and retighten the bolts.... and then its good for a little while... it barely shakes on mine and u do not notice it at all when u ride...

tighten the bolts so they are snug, but don't overtighten them or else it makes the whole thing bend slightly inwards and that aint good. Also make sure the hex bolt on the front plate of the folding mech (right behind the wheel) is as tight as it can go, otherwise it will creak and I guess wobble a bit making your deck snap faster...

[EDIT] and it might help to use locking nuts and washers on your bolt so it stays nice and snug.

I got myself banned.
Get good thick grade 8 bolts for your folding mech and tighten them until your hands hurt so bad your about to tear up. Make sure you have the bars pushed forward all the way when you put them in

it probably too late to fix mine now, the metal "reinforcement" that comes stock with the a model is bent up and has started to crack along with the deck.

if you have access to a welder, then strengthen the welds on the folding mech, so it doesn't crack off, and while you're at it, strengthen the stock welds around the back fork. Damn, someone needs to figure out a good way to completely reinforce an old a deck. I have an idea for the back fork that doesn't involve welding, but we need someone to come up with something for the front of the deck, because apparently a lot of people are breaking them there...

yea Im using New A's, but thats all I have access to. I cant order anything online, but I was lucky enough to find a B model just lying around, so I'll switch to it once my current scooter is totalled.

it IS bolted properly.. 2 out of the 3 are in TIGHT AS THEY CAN GO. but the last one just wont fit.. so i guess ill just have to ride with it slightly leaning..or sell it to one of my friends who needs one...idk it just is starting to piss me off
