Any thoughts on the About link at the top? I plan to add a little more to it but I'm just wondering what you guys think... ?

It is just a brief history of the sport and how SR came to be. It is mainly there for people who know nothing about anything scooter related so they can get a general idea of what we are all about.

Maybe you should add some history about that time when SR was down (for what) and when & why it came up again?
